The prevalence of pancreatic exocrine insufficiency (PEI) in chronic pancreatitis varies with severity and duration of disease. Studies have shown 30% of people with mild pancreatitis may have PEI.1 Ten years after the onset of chronic pancreatitis, 94% of patients may have PEI.2 The objective of this meeting is to gain a better understanding on the management of patients with chronic pancreatitis in a multidisciplinary clinic.
