The Venue for our Annual Gala Dinner

Welcome to the 2025 UK & Ireland Pancreatic Society and EUS Society Joint Conference
26th to the 28th November 2025  Edgbaston Park Hotel, Birmingham

Dear Colleagues,

We are delighted to invite you to this year’s UK & Ireland Pancreatic Society and Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) Society Conference, which we are honoured to be hosting from 26th to 28th November 2025 at the Edgbaston Park Hotel, Birmingham

This year’s meeting will take place in Edgbaston, one of Birmingham’s most historic and picturesque districts. Our venue is nestled within the University of Birmingham’s beautiful grounds, offering a tranquil and elegant setting just minutes from the city centre. Edgbaston is home to several of the city’s leading medical and academic institutions, including the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, the Institute of Translational Medicine, and the Birmingham Women’s Hospital, making it a fitting location for this gathering of clinical excellence. The area also boasts stunning Victorian architecture, peaceful canal-side walkways, and is within easy reach of the Birmingham Botanical Gardens and the iconic Edgbaston Cricket Ground. Combined with Birmingham’s rich heritage and vibrant cultural life, Edgbaston offers the perfect backdrop for connection, reflection, and learning

This conference provides a unique opportunity to come together as a community—to listen, learn, debate, and share expertise across a broad spectrum of pancreatic and EUS practice. We are especially excited to welcome leading voices from both the UK and abroad, offering valuable insights into clinical innovation, service design, and the evolving landscape of translational research

The Pancreatic Society programme will explore the full range of benign and malignant pancreatic pathways. Sessions will address key areas of clinical controversy, present findings from the NHS England GIRFT pancreatic cancer programme, and share updates from the national pancreatic cancer audits. There will also be satellite symposia led by the National HPB Nursing Group and the Nutrition Interest Group of PSGBI, as well as pre-conference meetings for trainees and surgeons.

The EUS programme, taking place on 26th November, will aim to feature live case demonstrations alongside thematic sessions covering key topics including  EUS-guided vascular and non-vascular interventions.  In addition, there will be a strong emphasis on refining case selection, particularly through better understanding of challenging imaging interpretation to enhance MDT decision-making. A focused trainee track will offer practical guidance, expert insights, and tips for success at all stages of training.

We are, as always, grateful for the generous support of our industry partners, and are pleased to offer trainee-focused breakfast sessions—a valuable opportunity for hands-on learning and informal engagement with experts and technology leaders.

Abstract submission will open in early August and will close at 17:00 on Monday 1st September. We welcome submissions from all those working in pancreatic disease and EUS research and clinical practice. The top scoring abstracts will be invited for oral presentation in the prestigious Rodney Smith Medal Session, and the top nutrition-related abstract will receive the NIGPS Prize

We have secured a number of rooms at this premium hotel at highly competitive rates—available strictly on a first-come, first-served basis. There is also an early bird registration rate available to members until the end of August, so we encourage you to register early to avoid disappointment.

We sincerely hope you will join us for what promises to be an inspiring, collaborative, and unmissable event, and we look forward to welcoming you to Birmingham in November

Warm regards,
Professor Keith Roberts and Dr Brinder Singh Mahon
